Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Environmental Services Floor Technician at our facility you will have the opportunity to make a difference in many lives as you serve our patients and team members. You will be a member of a unified, caring team where everyone makes a difference. Join us in our efforts to better our community! In this role:

· You will maintain assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition by performing specialized cleaning tasks.

· You will operate heavy duty equipment and use special cleaning equipment such as low and high speed buffers, carpet extractors, upholstery attachments, vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc.

· You will demonstrate flexibility in assignments such as the distribution and pickup of biohazard barrels, clean linen, soiled linen and garbage as needed.

· You will complete special cleaning/work projects as assigned.

· You will participate in staff meetings and actively participate in performance improvement activities.

· You will ensure that customer quality expectations are met and that all customers are given courteous and caring service.

Qualifications:

· Previous Environmental Service experience and knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.

· Experience with floor care cleaning and maintenance preferred.

· Must be able to comprehend spoken English.
