Looking for a Case Manager/ Surgery Scheduler to work in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate must be professional, reliable, compassionate, have good people skills, be organized, must have knowledge of medical terminology, and be detail oriented.

General Job Duties:

Responsible for reviewing and accurately triaging incoming referrals write up synopsis for the provider to review.

Coordinate and schedule procedures, new patient, and follow-up appointments as designated by physicians.

Call new patients obtain medical history and any other pertinent information.

Carry out providers plan after patient has been seen.

Call insurance companies to verify if prior authorization is required for procedures and then submit authorizations.

Coordinate surgeries with other providers offices.

Responsible for pre operative teaching.

Fill out surgical consent forms.'
