The Albany Marriott is seeking an experienced Night Auditor to join our team!

The Night Auditor completes the hotel's daily audit process according to company policies, procedures, and standards. The Night Auditor covers the hotel's Front Desk during the night, ensuring that hotel guests receive hospitable and responsive service at check-in, during the stay, and upon departure, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Front Desk Agent duties will include check-in, check-out, payment and providing service as outlined through Marriott standards.

Candidates will receive a $400 sign on bonus after completion of 90 days!

Duties & Functions:

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation in a timely manner.
• Fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
• Audit, balance, post checks/revenue and run required closing reports for all daily financial transactions.
• Create reports, spreadsheets and a nightly MOD report.
• Respond to all guest concerns, answering telephones, making room reservations and guest check-in/check-out.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies. Must be able to balance and prepare paperwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag while working.
• Must be reliable and have the ability to work week days, weekends and holidays.

Skills:

• Experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service skills
• The ability to multitask
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
