Albert Cliff is Hiring a Managing Director Near Munich, ND
Our client, an investment fund based in Munich, Germany, focused on developing family businesses through strategic acquisitions. They invest in mid-sized companies in manufacturing and industrial sectors, particularly mid-tech companies like machinery and automotive suppliers. They are currently seeking a dynamic individual to lead the search for these companies and ultimately become the Managing Director & Fellow Shareholder.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential mid-sized company acquisitions in the DACH region.
- Lead the due diligence process and assess business viability.
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for acquired companies.
- Manage daily operations as the Managing Director of portfolio companies.
- Collaborate with other shareholders to drive company success and profitability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science; MS/PhD in Engineering/Science preferred.
- MBA from a leading business school is a plus.
- 3-6 years of consulting experience with MBB consultancies, minimum Engagement Manager level.
- 2-4 years of industry experience; candidates without industry experience may be offered a management position in one of our portfolio companies.
- Strong technical background with a focus on mid-tech industries (e.g., machinery, automotive suppliers).
