POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Education Facilities Manager for the Office of Medical Education, the student will ensure that the classrooms are clean and presentable for class each day. They will check that the air conditioning/heating, clocks, lights, and technology are all in working order. They will replace all the markers and erasers for whiteboards, as needed, and ensure that nothing is broken or missing from the rooms.

Room Check and Reporting

• Report any damage immediately.
• Report any missing ceiling tiles immediately.
• Check to make sure the heaters/air conditioning units are working correctly. Report any issues found immediately.
• Report any broken chairs or desks immediately.
• Report any broken shades or windows immediately.
• Report any issues with flooring or carpets immediately.
• Make sure the facilities are clean and organized. Report any issues found.
• Check that the Audio-visual technology in each space is working by testing each panel on the wall, and making sure the system can play audio. Report any issues immediately.
• Replace markers and erasers for whiteboards as needed.
• Check to make sure the clocks read the correct times. Report any issues immediately.
• Replace cartridges and paper in housing printer located at ? and report any issues with printer immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be an Einstein MD or MD/PhD student.
