What you will be doing We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager for our Supply Chain Automation Team to lead our efforts in deploying Automation systems in our distribution centers. The ideal candidate will work closely with material handling suppliers to design and implement automated solutions that will enhance our supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service. The Senior Manager will be responsible for directly facilitating and overseeing the priorities associated with the planning, analysis, design, and implementation of automation solutions for distribution. The role will coordinate the activities for this strategic objective through collaborative efforts with solution providers, local distribution center team, corporate support resources and third-party business partners. The position will be based in Boise, Idaho or at one of our major DCs (Tracy, CA; Lancaster PA; Melrose Park, IL). Bring your flavor Building the future of food and well-being starts with you. Work closely with the Director of Automation to develop a comprehensive strategy for deploying Automation in our distribution centers.
Lead the design and implementation of automated storage solutions in our distribution centers, including selecting the appropriate Automation material handling equipment.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that the Automation design meets the requirements of the business, such as product flow, inventory control, and order picking.
Manage the installation and commissioning of the Automation, including overseeing the supplier's installation team and coordinating with internal resources.
Develop and maintain relationships with material handling suppliers, including negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and monitoring industry trends.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the Automation deployment, including cost savings, quality improvements, and efficiency gains and direct DC Engineering in monitoring KPIs.
Communicate progress and status of the Automation deployment to senior management and key stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
3 years of experience in supply chain automation, including experience deploying automation in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
Deep knowledge of material handling equipment and Automation technology, including experience selecting and working with suppliers.
Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and improve processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience working with global supply chains and managing vendor relationships.
Travel will be required for the role ~ 25% (variable)
