Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with the production of delicious baked goods. Duties: - Assist with the preparation and production of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies - Measure and weigh ingredients accurately according to recipes - Mix ingredients and prepare doughs, batters, and fillings - Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters - Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection - Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, or other toppings as required - Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils - Assist with inventory management by organizing ingredients and supplies - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Requirements: - Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not required - Knowledge of baking techniques and familiarity with different types of baked goods is a plus - Ability to follow recipes accurately and measure ingredients precisely - Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency - Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization - Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Note: All positions at our bakery are paid positions.
