Albuquerque Nursery School is Hiring a Pre-K Staff Near Albuquerque, NM
Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
- Teach basic literacy, numeracy, and language skills
- Encourage creativity and self-expression through art, music, and movement activities
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Working towards Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (minimum of 6 credit hours per semester)
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies for young children
- Understanding of special education needs and accommodations for diverse learners
- Knowledge of child welfare regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to manage a classroom of preschool-aged children
