M&O WAREHOUSE STOCK CLERK JOB STATUS: OPEN POSTING NUMBER: 00060641 SCHOOL YEAR: 2024-2025 CALENDAR: District Support / Full Year CLOSING DATE: 06/23/2024 04:00 PM POSTING NUMBER: 00060641 LOCATION: 064:MAINTENANCE & OPERAT POSITION TITLE: M&O WAREHOUSE STOCK CLERK Job DescriptionSUMMARY: To ensure the efficient receiving and distribution of maintenance and repair materials and supplies to support M&O crafts personnel. Essential FunctionsIncumbent must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation
Verifies accuracy of receipts by counting, weighing or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description and code number with information on invoice or packing slip, purchase order and bid specifications.
Records any discrepancies or damage and reports to appropriate management personnel.
Marks identifying information such as stock number and department and ensures quantity received is posted in inventory.
Stores items according to established procedures for that department.
Takes items for stock to fill requisitions for requesting department crafts personnel on a walk-through.
Takes physical inventory periodically; adjusts and vertifies with shortage or overage memo tickets.
Notifies department supervisors and Procurement Specialist of low usage stock to be disposed or of low stock level for reordering.
Maintains tool room with sufficient supply of tools for all M&O crafts personnel.

Knowledge of APS community, computer system, financial and legal requirements.
Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects.
Knowledge of regulations regarding storage, handling and issuance of flammable liquids and materials.
Knowledge of all applicable codes, regulations and laws.
Ability to operate a fork lift, hand truck, pallet jacks and other specialized material handling equipment.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment physical examination.
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment skills test.
Valid New Mexico Driver's License with insurable driving record.
Four years of experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving and/or inventory control.
