Job Summary:

Alderman's Toyota in Rutland, VT is seeking to hire an experienced Accounting/Warranty Administrator to join our team. This full-time position comes with a great team attitude and is responsible for the support functions that help the rest of the dealership operate smoothly. You must have a stable work history, automotive industry experience is a plus but not required. Our ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, detail oriented, and have strong math/computer skills. The person who fills this role will be a key part of our accounting team.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Process invoices and payments accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

- Submit warranty claims on a timely basis and obtain manufacturer approval for each claim

- Reconcile warranty receivables with payment and post to the general ledger

- Follow up on payment of outstanding claims, keeping schedules current

- Some cashiering and phone answering along with other duties

Requirements:

- Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
