HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINIATRATIVE SPECIALIST
This position is the face of Human Resources as the greeter and first person that our team members see when they enter the Human Resources Department. This friendly, reliable, energetic person provides administrative support for the Human Resources Department; develops and creates statistical data and reports, generates departmental procedural manuals, and correspondence; assists in the facilitation of recruiting, i.e. advertising, job promotion, reviewing applications; orders supplies, etc. as needed; answer, return phone calls; transfer phone calls as needed; assist in managing calendars for the team; assist employees with paystub copies, W2s, letters of employment, direct deposit forms, address changes etc.; create and replace employee badges; assist with Paycom username and password resets; assist with tax forms; complete employment verifications for employees both verbal and written; code invoices and send vouchers to accounts payable; and other duties as assigned.
PREPARATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Educational:
High school education or equivalent required.
Experience:
One to three years experience in office administration or related field.
Skills:
1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
3. Interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills required.
4. Maintains confidentiality where deemed appropriate.
Physical, Mental and Visual Effort
Attention to detail and deadlines. May be required to work overtime. Majority of time spent sitting and working with desk top computer.
Working Conditions
Work requires interaction with administration, committee and board members, employees, and residents. May be required to work in an area with numerous interruptions from telephones and walk-in traffic.
