Aldridge Pite LLP is Hiring a Garnishment Clerk Near Atlanta, GA

Job Description: This position reports to the Garnishment and Skip Trace Manager and works primarily with garnishments that are filed within Georgia as well as other states. This position collects and reports on data regarding active and recent garnishments filed by Aldridge Pite Haan as well as occasionally dealing with various courts and garnishees for information. Entering incoming garnishment answers and other orders related to garnishments.Requesting that funds held in the courts be condemned.Following up with garnishees that have not answered/are not answering.Preparing traverses for any answers we think are insufficient or untrue.Preparing default judgments against garnishees that fail to answer.Speaking with garnishees attorney’s seeking to resolve default judgments against the garnishee.Preparing satisfactions of DJAG when defaults are settled.Reviewing garnishment response diary codes in CLS to make sure they are up to date.Reviewing to see whether garnishments have completed, forwarding them to Skip to be refiled if necessary. Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business preferred; high school diploma required.No experience required but experience in dealing with garnishments preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to learn quickly, including computer systems and business processes.Ability to adapt to changing business conditions and work in fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Excellent teaming skills.Excellent organization and time management skills.Process improvement (identify issues and propose solutions) skills
