Position: Medical Assistant

Our company is growing rapidly and is looking for a couple of Registered Medical Assistants to join our family. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.

Job Duties:

• Assist healthcare professionals in the examination and treatment of patients, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevent information accurately.
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness, and stocking necessary supplies and equipment.
• Perform basic clinical procedures, such as taking blood pressure, height and weight.
• Assist with the prior authorizations/scheduling for diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain electronic medical records (EMR), uploading patient information, test results, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially.
• Assist with patient education, explaining procedures, providing instructions, and answering basic medical questions.
• Perform basic administration tasks, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient registration and billing information.
• Performs all duties and tasks required by the provider and/or manager.
• Be willing to travel, as we have multiple locations…Russellville, Little Rock and Conway.

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of a medical assistant training program. Registered Certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and basic clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals and staff members.
• Detail Oriented and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
