Acara Solutions is hiring a Managementof Program Management role in Milpitas, CA- Zollner role for our client located in Milpitas, CA
a leading provider in the EMS industry, committed to excellence and innovation. Our client specializes in complex mechatronic systems and
offers cross-sector and cross-technology systems solutions. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Managementof Program Management role
to join their dynamic team.
Duration: Direct Hire
Salary: $120-135K per year
Hours: Day
Here is what you will do:
TheManager of Program Management will manage and resolve all discrepancies including receiving, accounts payable, and non-conforming materials. They will also establish new supplier relationships and negotiate payment terms.
Responsibilities:
  • Be the Functional Manager for the Program Managers on the following:
  • Ensure Program Managers update their workbooks weekly
  • Ensure CFT meetings occur every week and NPI Kickoff, Quote Kickoff, and MRR meetings occur as needed
  • Ensure all Program Managers create and work based on their customer action trackers and internal action trackers
  • Ensure meeting minutes are published after each customer meeting
  • Excess and Obsolete (NOO) Updates
  • Weekly excess variance internal report
  • Weekly excess variance claim to customers
  • Monthly submission of report to customer
  • Address NOO issues before the end of each quarter unless otherwise noted in the customer contract
  • Ensure all purchase price variances (PPV) over a certain value are approved by the customer before execution
  • Update and review Backlog every week
  • Escalation point for all Programs
  • Keep all documentation updated such as a Project Management folder, collectible files, etc.
  • Maintain the integrity of the backlog (Demand validation, no forecast inside 60 days, etc.)
  • Maintain Accounts Receivable at a target of less than 2% of total outstanding invoices within 0-30 days, with no receivables at 31 days
  • Perform organic business development
  • Provides guidance and recommendations to business unit management with interpretation of relevant regulations, including applicable trade reference programs, and the integration of regulatory requirements into business plans and processes.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers and colleagues, and other functional areas.
  • Supports the Quality Management system including conformance to ISO-based registrations and controls for the facility business plan based on targeted market sectors.
  • Manages conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, as well as partners with business executives and operations leaders to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Reviews and supporting negotiations on terms and conditions for completing Contracts and Agreements to help establish strategic customer partnerships.
  • May attend customer Quarterly Business Review (QBR).
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • BA or BS Degree (technical, business, or financial discipline)
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a contract manufacturing or technology company
  • Previous program management experience required.
  • Supports Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other related processes for continuous improvement of critical operational metrics across key functions.
  • CPI, CRM, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
  • Proficient with PC-based software including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong, effective organizational skills required; detail and data-oriented; ability to multitask
  • Possess excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form
  • Ability to read, and interpret engineering instructions, schematics, technical procedures, and various reports
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
  • Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
