Acara Solutions is hiring a Systems Lab Technician in Irvine, CA

This is a 1-year contract position with strong opportunity for extension

Schedule: Monday-Friday/ 7:00am-3:30pm (some flexibility), In Office

Pay Rate: $30/hr.

The Systems Lab Tech will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the System Integration Lab, which includes managing and maintaining hardware configuration consistent with the field configuration. The Systems Lab Tech will work with the respective Test or Software Development Engineers to help identify and resolve hardware issues within the System Integration Lab. Support all Hardware engineering activities.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair and SIL (system integration lab) hardware as needed. Document and provide status as needed
• Maintain lab Hardware inventory electronics
• Manage the repair of a spares pool of hardware for the SIL and track them in SAP
• Interpret schematics or cable drawings and build to specification

Requirements:

• 5 years working experience in building complex systems in the avionics industry
• Understanding of wiring diagrams and schematics
• Understanding of aircraft systems
• Basic MS Excel skills
• Understanding of SAP, Inventory Control process and the ordering of material processes
• Must have electronic technician capabilities such as electrical, mechanical skills
• Logical approach to problem solving
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
