Alert Healthcare is a healthcare company providing mobile and other healthcare services to residents and organizations throughout Rhode Island. We are currently looking for a Part Time Experienced Clinician to fill a position at our Medical Respite.
Clinicians MUST BE licensed in the state of Rhode Island and have either a valid: Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA),EMT-Basic, EMT-Cardiac, EMT-Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.
This is a Part Time, Every Monday and Friday (20 hours a week) at this time position. There could be more days/hours available in the future.
Daily Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Overseeing Medical Care and Coordination for all medical respite patients
Clinician will be responsible for possibly providing the following during shifts-(duties assigned will all be within the hired Clinicians scope of practice)
Basic Vital Signs
Medication Reconciliation
Patient Assessments
Medication Administration
Basic Wound Care
Coordinating care
Documentation for each patient encounter
Other miscellaneous tasks within the clinician's Scope of Practice
Must be willing to work as a team member with Provider Groups and other Medical Respite staff. Always maintaining an open line of communication regarding patients, patient care and appointments with the Medical Respite care team and the patients Providers.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and clinical assessment experience.
Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Medical Respite.
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, the care team and providers.
Use reasoning skills and good judgment
Specific Job Information
PAY:
MA/EMT-B/CNA- $25.00 per hour
EMT-C- $30.00 per hour
EMT-P and LPN-$40.00 per hour
RN- $45.00 per hour
A $5/HR differential for weekend shifts (saturdays and sundays) is available for all clinicians
Sundays- Either 7am-5pm or 8am to 6pm (10 hour shift)
Location- Providence, RI
Education, Experience, and Licensure and Hire Requirements:
Currently licensed/registered in Rhode Island as either a Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), EMT-Basic, EMT-Cardiac, EMT-Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
Must maintain an active clinical license in good standing throughout employment.
Two (2) years experience required
CPR certification upon hire. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Provide Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, TDap and Hep B)
Provide Background Check
Provide a clean Driving Record
Complete a TB test and Fit Test upon hire
