Alethia is hiring DCW/BHTs for female clients in their Group Homes located in the East Golf Links Road and South Prudence Road area of Tucson.

Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
Possession of, or ability to complete, all necessary in-service training and certifications including
CPR & First Aid,
Article 9,
Prevention & Support Certification
DCW Certification (obtain within 90 days of hire),
Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card, and
Medication administration certification (if applicable);
Possession of a valid driver's license and a demonstrated safe driving record.
Due to the vulnerability of our clients, Female staff are preferred.
Must be 21yrs to drive.
Responsibilities
This job description will serve as the primary document in the selection and hiring process; and constitutes the context for incumbent job performance and evaluation.
Staff will be required to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene. Other tasks may include:
Ambulation and transfer assistance
Transportation: Accompany clients to appointments, local trips to the grocery, etc.
General housekeeping and cleaning of the home, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, making beds, dusting, emptying trash, and all other tasks indicated on the service plan.
Laundry, including washing, drying, folding, putting away, and ironing of clothes.
Menu planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, including meal planning, cooking, and proper storage of food, as well as cleaning up after the meal service. This may include eating assistance.
Medication reminders and administration.
Companionship, including activities, discussions, encouragement, reassurance, and redirection as needed.

Schedule: Full-time and Part-time schedules available.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour DOE.
Shifts: 8-hour shifts/12-hour shifts/weekend and overnight shifts available.
