Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Sales Associate to join our team at our esteemed high-end jewelry store. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and fostering lasting relationships with our clientele.

Responsibilities:

1. Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, assisting them with their inquiries and providing expert advice on our jewelry collections.

2. Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and understanding of gemstones, metals, and craftsmanship techniques to effectively communicate the value of our pieces.

3. Assist customers in finding the perfect jewelry piece for special occasions such as engagements, weddings, anniversaries, and birthdays.

4. Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring a seamless purchasing experience for our customers.

5. Maintain a visually appealing and organized store environment, including arranging displays and ensuring all jewelry pieces are presented beautifully.

6. Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with customers through follow-up communication and personalized service.

7. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.

8. Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Requirements:

1. Previous retail sales experience, preferably in the luxury or jewelry industry.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

3. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle cash transactions.

4. Knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewelry design preferred- or a strong desire to learn.

5. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

6. A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Expected hours: 25 – 34 per week
