Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary role will be to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities. If you have a strong background in conflict management, loss prevention, and law enforcement, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access
- Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons
- Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and suspicious activities
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems such as CCTV surveillance cameras
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Perform first aid or CPR if necessary
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
- Certificate in security training or related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV surveillance systems
- Excellent observation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team environment
