The Alexander Technology Group is searching for a Manager of Model Development in Boston MA for a large new travel demand modeling platform. The role is full-time and on a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote, where a candidate would lead a team of 6 on critical model development projects. The Role

• Responsible for coordinating, training, and supporting the Model Development team in maintenance, support, and ongoing enhancements to modeling tools.
• Perform model development in GIS
• Prioritize, plan, and advance maintenance and enhancement work for large scale project
• Communicate and coordinate model development activities with model stakeholders

Required Background

• Previous experience managing and executing travel model development
• Experience with Python scripting
• Experience working with GISDK, Calipers highly preferred
• Project management experience
• Experience designing, developing, deploying, documenting, and maintaining production-level code
