Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare settings and possess strong administrative skills to effectively manage appointment scheduling and patient coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments efficiently
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries related to scheduling
- Ensure accurate entry of patient information into the system
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize appointment availability
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental clinic setting is preferred
- Proficiency in Dentrix, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar scheduling software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of clinic operations and front desk procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
