Alexandria Technical & Community College Health Division program graduates are recognized for industry-leading excellence. The college is searching for an instructor that will work with existing faculty in building on this tradition of student success, expanding industry partnerships, and positioning the program for future growth. 

• Planning and delivering online and on campus instruction
• Developing curriculum
• Evaluating student work
• Maintaining student records
• Interacting positively with students and staff
• Maintaining and promoting a safe lab environment

Minimum:

• Master's degree in physical education, exercise science, or kinesiology or
• Master's degree in any field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in physical education, exercise science, or kinesiology

Preferred:

• Work experience in exercise science or related field
• Teaching/training/mentoring experience
• Proven history of establishing relationships with community partners
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and with a variety of people as a team member
• Ability to work with diverse populations with a broad range of interests and abilities
• Computer skills sufficient to operate a variety of software applications, such as Microsoft Office, email, etc.
