Responsibilities
- Aid company attorneys in the handling of company legal affairs.
- Handle 3rd party subpoenas, garnishments and intake of process received.
- Open, organize & maintain files on legal database & physical files.
- Prepare deeds & other real estate documents.
- Manage outside counsel billing.
- Regularly review & maintain files in accordance with the Corporate & Legal Dept record retention policies & procedures.
- Handle discover request, answer interrogatories and all other projects as assigned.
- 2 years experience as paralegal/legal assistant, insurance claims role, or other related experience.
- Knowledge of the legal system, legal requirements and able to understand legal terminology.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
