High Performance Systems Engineer:

As a High Performance Systems Engineer, you will be at the forefront of all technological innovation, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of ultra-low latency electronic trading systems. Your responsibilities will encompass advanced troubleshooting, performance analysis, automation, and network optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a sizable Linux server cluster and associated hardware.
• Develop and maintain high-performance storage and network solutions.
• Monitor system performance, job stats, and overall HPC infrastructure health.
• Plan and implement upgrades to enhance cluster size, capabilities, and performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for data centre operations and maintenance.
• Optimize grid jobs to maximize compute resource utilization.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Linux administration.
• Adept using configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with homogeneous machine clusters.
• Expertise in managing large-scale HPC environments with various job schedulers such as Slurm.
• Strong scripting skills.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Linux package management tools.
