HPC Trade Systems Engineer

Position Overview:

The HPC Trade Systems Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of high-performance trading applications. This position involves supporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting HPC systems and applications used in our trading operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HPC environments, experience in the financial markets industry, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for high-performance trading systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues with HPC systems and trading applications
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to HPC systems, network latency, and application performance
• Work with development teams to optimize the performance and reliability of trading applications
• Respond to and resolve incidents in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on trading operations

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in supporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting high-performance Java applications
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Proven track record working with data-intensive systems
• Demonstrated expertise in Linux production environments
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and version control systems, particularly Git
• Any experience within the Financial Markets is a plus
