Senior Quantitative Analyst (Chicago)
A Global trading firm is hiring a Senior Quantitative Analyst, the role splits responsibilities equally between both quantitative development and quantitative research tasks.
If successful, the Senior Quantitative Analyst will join the Options desk and collaborate with Traders and Quants to build reliable trading strategies that can continue to innovate and scale this trading business. This includes workflows that are both high and low latency in nature; working on the architecture and design and algorithm pricing execution.
Role Responsibilities:
- Contribute to next-generation front office trading services that deliver a scalable C platform to facilitate quick expansion into emerging markets
- Highly optimise market data solutions to power quantitative research
- Develop best-in-class execution & market-making strategies with strong back-testing capabilities
- Partner with traders and quants to understand the most important problems
- Collaborate closely with developers on the team and around the firm
- Use new technologies and approaches with continuous improvement in mind
- Team code reviews and system reviews
Candidate Requirements:
- Exceptional C skills
- Experience building low latency, scalable services
- Options pricing experience
- Familiarity with delivering software in an Agile environment
- Highly motivated, humble, and collaborative team member
