Job Summary
IPEX is seeking a highly motivated Inside sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will support multiple accounts and work across all levels of the organization, in addition to serving our customers externally.
Principal Responsibilities
The incumbent will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with existing and new customers.
They will use their communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until close and ensure proper after-sales service.
Support the US Retail Sales Managers
Warm calling sales activities & sales funnel opportunity tracking.
Interact with customers regarding products & general inquires.
Collect regional / national price and market information.
Assist in preparing for customer sales events (shows, promotions, conferences, etc.).
Help evaluate and prioritize growth prospects.
Involvement with new business projects part cross-reference, new customer set-up details
Basic sales analysis and tracking.
Product assortment and merchandising initiatives.
Develop valuable product, customer, and market knowledge.
Minimal travel required to support customer trade shows and selling events.

High drive for building strong customer relationships based on customer satisfaction
Overall management of sales orders and customer inquiries
Understanding of pricing relationships, and / or ability to organize price information
A firm grasp of the IPEX computer system
Relationship with internal colleagues and ability to resolve problems and disputes by consulting with the appropriate team members
Positive attitude and team focused outlook
High degree of organization and accuracy
Telephone manner and skills
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience selling, developing leads, meeting sales quotas, and building relationships
A very professional manner and a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service in previous roles comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
Looking for a motivated results-driven professional who enjoys working in a team environment.
Good time management and follow-up skills, including, the ability to effectively balance quality and quantity of output Excellent computer and internet skills, especially Microsoft Office and email
Demonstrated ability to optimally resolve customer issues and complaints patiently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Great teammate including the demonstrated ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environment
Knowledge and experience using SAP would be considered an asset.
Industry experience is an asset
