Role Overview: The Business Development Manager role will be essential in driving and continuously streamlining our business development processes and workflows, as well as monitoring leads to drive growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development/sales, a passion for leveraging technology to optimize operations, and the ability to execute and project manage digital and non-digital campaigns.
In this role, you will: Identify and monitor potential leads through various channels, including LinkedIn, industry events and online databases, and develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients. Help implement and manage sales-specific software tools (CRM, lead generation/pipeline management, email service, etc.), establishing and maintaining systems for lead tracking, follow-ups, and client communication. Plan, execute, and manage campaigns, including digital marketing initiatives, email campaigns and print mailings, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Project manage the creation of marketing materials such as case studies and email newsletters, collaborating closely with our strategists and creatives. Conduct research and analyze available data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, preparing regular reports on lead generation, conversion rates, and effectiveness of initiatives.
Ideally, you’ll have:2 years of relevant business development/sales experience at a professional services firm or a comparable environment selling to high-value accounts. Proficiency in sales-specific software and workflow automation tools (CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot, LinkedIn, marketing tools, etc.).Excellent project management and organizational skills, and experience with managing projects with a tight turnaround time. The ability and drive to lead multiple complex projects at a time, while providing guidance and support to colleagues and partners. Excellent, client-ready communication and people skills, for both internal and external groups. Interest in joining a small, resourceful team—we punch above our weight by staying curious, always improving, and maximizing our impact.
