Overall Purpose: The Lead Tax Accountant is responsible for supporting monthly production processes for Captive Leasing Operations and implementation of corporate strategies to account for lease billings and tax liabilities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.Key Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for meeting all required deadlines. Leads and manages multiple concurrent initiatives simultaneously. Collaborates closely with other business unit stakeholders and IT professional to plan/implement projects & resolve production issues. Works on complex analysis of financial transactions & identify root cause and propose resolution. Job Contribution: Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining resultsExperience: Strong technical knowledge of indirect tax & accounting. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team. Proficiency in tax software and other financial management tools such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, and Corptax. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. At least 10 years of experience in tax compliance or related field. Preferred Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Supervisory: No.Our Lead Tax Accountants earn between $94,300 - $141,500.
