Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the operation of the manufacturing department and the efficacy of the overall program to ensure the utmost in customer satisfaction. The Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible to oversee the overall manufacturing process in an industry to ensure optimized production.
Essential functions (What)
1. Design and implement plans for the effective use of material and labor resources to achieve manufacturing On Time Delivery Targets.
2. Supervise the operations of manufacturing personnel to ensure a manufacturing process is within the allotted time schedule
3. Advanced Manufacturing engineering: design and process knowledge, good practices for manufacturability
4. Oversee the hiring, orienting, and training of technical production employees to ensure a competent workforce
5. Research and implementation of more effective approach to production
6. Oversee the regulation of work shift to ensure proper workload distribution
7. Analyze and provide solutions to manufacturing challenges or problems
8. Liaison with the quality assurance department to ensure product quality and specification are consistent
9. Conduct assessments to identify mechanical and procedural limitations that minimize work efficiency
10. Monitor and control a production process to adjust operations in event of a problem
11. Collaborate with sales staff to implement strategies that’ll improve the marketability of manufactured products
Must be able to wear personal safety gear as required to meet OSHA regulations, ie., goggles, gloves, back belt, apron, and respirator when required
Fill out required regulated paperwork and required documentation
Complete all required training
Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in related discipline (Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering) from four-year College or university.
· Five plus years of relevant experience.
