A General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.
Shift Times: 6:30 am-2:30 pm or 2:30pm - 10:30pm
The hourly rate for this opportunity is $25. The 2:30pm to 10:30pm will qualify for a $1 differential during this evening shift for $26 per hour. This is the pay rate for this position at Ventana Big Sur, and Alila Resort reasonably expects to pay.

Qualifications
- A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred.
- General knowledge of construction, Swimming pool maintenance, electrical/mechanical/plumbing
- Good customer skills are also required.
