As a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager, you will:

  • Oversee and manage all supervisory duties within your unit.
  • Establish and implement employment policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced nurses, providing both clinical and career advice.
  • Uphold and maintain the highest standards of care for the unit.
  • Review resident records and ensure quality of care.
  • Monitor overall care and review individual residents cases.
  • Address questions or complaints from residents and their families.
  • Represent the units interests to upper-level management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Unit Manager.
  • Valid RN License.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
