EU Business Development Manager (m/w/d)

About us:

Join a global leader in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies, as our EU Business Development Manager. We're looking for a seasoned professional to spearhead our business development initiatives in Europe and cultivate relationships with key customers.

Position Overview:

As the EU Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our presence in the European market. You’ll drive our business development strategy, expand our client base, and position us as a leader in ADAS and autonomous vehicle technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key clients. Identify and build connections with potential new partners to drive business growth.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and alignment of business development projects with organizational objectives.
  • Client Interaction: Engage in regular, face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions leveraging technologies.
  • Opportunity Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, utilizing your industry knowledge and understanding of market trends.
  • Product Evaluation: Coordinate customer evaluation activities, product demonstrations, and facilitate RFI/RFQ discussions, including in-depth sessions on technologies and products.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify growth areas, analyze competitive landscapes, and develop strategies to enhance our market position.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical departments, to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports on business development activities, providing insights and updates to the leadership team on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years in a senior business development or sales role within the ADAS/AV sector.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Track Record: Proven success in managing and expanding client relationships.
  • Independence: Ability to work autonomously and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
