Alkami Technology is Hiring a Remote Staff Product Manager, Enterprise Applications, Billing

As a remote-first company, this position can sit in Plano, TX or remote in the US.

Position Overview:

As the Staff Product Manager of Enterprise Applications, you will partner closely with Engineering and Accounting to streamline Billing processes from the Data Lake to ERP. Through this role, you will drive change and enterprise technology transformation with short term execution rooted in long-term strategic vision. This individual will think holistically about problems and must see the big picture while also remaining detail oriented while working with multiple levels of leaders across multiple departments.

This role will join a team of Enterprise Application Product Managers focused on supporting the key business domains of Marketing, Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance and Human Resources. Alkami is at an exciting stage of maturity and this individual will contribute directly to transforming the Enterprise Platform to support Alkami’s next stage of significant growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Own the long term strategic vision to reimagine and streamline billing processes end-to-end
  • Write and review feature guides to clarify challenges and opportunities, highlight key benefits and specify criteria for success
  • Prioritize enterprise billing solutions features and enhancements to drive value through improved operational efficiency
  • Architect highly efficient and reconcilable billing solutions to automate recurring fee calculations based on product related activity like product usage, activations, users, etc.
  • Document and facilitate stakeholder approval of use cases, data mappings, system architecture and process flows
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to translate requirements into consumable technical deliverables that build towards long-term scale
  • Monitor the product's performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize its success
  • Define and monitor metrics to improve performance of systems, integrations, and business processes
  • Build a deep understanding of our existing business, processes, stakeholders, data, market and products
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and practices in the market and apply to Alkami’s in house technology roadmap

Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience working with enterprise systems and integrations e.g. CRM, ERP, Microservices, APIs, Event Based Systems, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record of developing billing related solutions to monetize platform usage and activity
  • Deep understanding and experience in software development, agile methodologies, and risk mitigation
  • High proficiency in empathizing and organizing cross-functional stakeholders to align plans and priorities
  • Proven track record to learn new and complex topics and the ability to simplify them to drive clarity and alignment
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and
  • A disciplined approach to time management by skillfully prioritizing
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), able to adapt style and content to wide array of audiences

Desired Skills:

  • Master’s degree in technology or business administration or related fields
  • Preferred experience working in FinTech or SaaS industries
  • Experience working with Third-Party billing arrangements a plus
  • Adept at building process and solutions leveraging enterprise Data Lake
  • Experience working with Salesforce and NetSuite a plus
  • Skillfully establish credibility with executives, managers, stakeholders and internal users
  • Tailor messaging and phrasing to the language our stakeholders speak
  • Exemplify leadership by being decisive, thinking critically, motivating others and delegating appropriately
  • Experience working closely with project management and/or program management
