Our client, a prominent food manufacturer, is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics to join their 3rd shift team. This role requires maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will undertake both proactive and reactive maintenance tasks across all production equipment, facilities, and grounds. This position involves using technical skills to modify existing equipment to better serve production needs and performing all tasks with minimal supervision while effectively communicating progress to supervisors, maintenance engineers, and team members. The role also demands adherence to strict food safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on all production equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Modify and improve equipment according to production team needs.
• Identify and solve issues with minimal supervision.
• Keep team members and management informed of progress.
• Follow company’s food safety procedures strictly.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or related field, or technical training from an accredited institution.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively on complex projects within a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Experience:

• Welding and maintenance of food processing equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
