Pay Range: $24.50 - $28 / hour
SummaryLayout, fit and fabricate steel and aluminum components into structural forms, such as decks frames, stairs units, and decorative stage elements. Important points are following design and technical documents, verification of part compatibility between other sections of the project and maintaining a high standard of final weld.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate within standard operating and safety procedures
- Verification of sizes and assembly of parts and tacking together for final welding.
- Welding together structural elements with TIG or MIG welding methods
- Modification and updating parts as need arises on per project basis.
- Achieve a high-quality product that represents All Access well in the global staging market.
- Communicate well with other departments in finishing projects in a timely and quality manner.
- To utilize technical design documents in the construction of staging and equipment.
- Efficient construction of standard Versa gear.
- MIG and TIG welding experience: 1-3 years or formal training
- Proficient with steel and aluminum fabrication.
- Ability to read technical design documents.
- Familiarity with requirements of touring equipment a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work weekends and overtime
- English speaking preferred, bilingual a plus
- Must complete all assigned Crew training
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Visual abilities include close vision and the ability to focus
- Ability to work with small hand and power tools
- Ability to regularly lift 50 - 75 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to follow direction
- A Positive attitude and punctuality are a must
