Independent Insurance Agency is seeking a full time CSR. We are looking for an exceptional customer service rep to help take care of our clients. It’s your friendly and trustworthy face/voice that greets our clients and defines the customer experience. You will be the point of contact they deal with most frequently, and it will be your personal care that will ensure our clients continue to do business with this agency for years to come.
Job Responsibilities:
· Complete applications, questionnaires, and certificates of insurance on request
· Conduct policy reviews and update policies and coverage as needed
· Maintain & Process customer files
· Maintain accurate documentation in agency systems
· Handle service requests including coverage questions, billing questions, change requests and general advice that require timely, courteous and knowledgeable responses
· Maintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers and other business contacts
· Complete other tasks as directed by agency management
Job Requirements:
· PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE LICENSE REQUIRED
· Have a general knowledge and understanding of Commercial Insurance including General Liability, Auto, Umbrella, and Worker’s Compensation
· Highly effective communication skills
· Strong computer skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Must have ability to multi-task
· Must enjoy helping and working with people - You will deal with customer questions, concerns, and needs all day everyday
· Candidate must be very articulate, have a sense of humor, easygoing, but disciplined
