All Faiths Children’s Advocacy Center (AFCAC) is currently seeking an EA to the CHRO and CFAO to join our team and help children and families thrive! AFCAC is the only Children’s Advocacy Center in Albuquerque, working as trusted advocates for children and families affected by trauma.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in progressive administration, office management, providing support to executives of an organization or project/event management; preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Experience in preparing internal and external communications.
  • Experience managing calendars and email on MS Outlook, expert level proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, Adobe Acrobat, Teams, and Zoom.

What will I do as the EA to the CHRO and CFAO with All Faith’s?

Administration Support

  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CHRO and CFAO including managing calendars; arranging travel; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that requires a sense of high confidentiality; arranging complex and detailed agendas; and compiling documents for meetings.
  • •Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CHRO and CFAO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. In collaboration with the CHRO or CFAO, determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
  • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CHRO and CFAO 's office and internal departments and external stakeholders; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support.
  • Works closely and effectively with the CHRO and CFAO.
  • Assist with prioritizing conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
  • Handles various jobs requested by other internal departments after clearing time assignment and length of commitment with CHRO and CFAO.
  • May provide support to other C-Level members as needed.

Communications, Partnerships, and Outreach

  • Responds to requests for materials regarding the CHRO and CFAO and the organization in general.
  • Edits and completes first drafts for written communications to external stake holders.

Other duties as assigned.

At All Faith’s Children’s Advocacy Center, we work in a variety of mediums for the treatment of families, children and their caregivers who are struggling due to issues of divorce, homelessness, child abuse/neglect, family violence or other crises.

The Children’s Safehouse provides age-appropriate, legally defensible forensic interviews for children 2-18 years of age and developmentally disabled adults who have been the alleged victim of sexual or physical abuse, or who have witnessed a violent crime. Family advocates work closely with the alleged victim’s guardian to ensure that they are provided resources and follow-up care, such as medical attention, and therapy.

All Faiths Adoption Services works to help children find permanent, loving, and safe homes within a family. We work with birth families to provide comprehensive pregnancy options counseling and with prospective adoptive families for adoptions within New Mexico and between states.

The New Mexico FIESTA Project focuses on creating a support system for adoptive families through networking events, trainings, and connections to resources.

The Home Study Program contracts with the New Mexico Children, Youth & Families Department (CYFD) to provide detailed assessments and recommendations for licensure for both prospective foster families and CYFD adoptive families throughout the state of New Mexico.
