Job Title: Training CoordinatorDepartment: Human ResourcesReports to: Training ManagerSalary Grade/Level/Family/Range: $61,800 effective July 1 st
Effective Date: July 1, 2024FLSA Classification: Exempt / Salaried AFSCME Represented Job Summary: Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Coordinator will deliver, coordinate, assess, and facilitate training to all staff members. Performs administrative duties related to training.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Delivers training presentations to all levels of the organization, both in person, virtually, and individually using various media as assigned.
  • Creates and updates training presentations, materials and programs as assigned.
  • Attends appropriate community and County professional meetings in the Training Manager’s absence.
  • Performs administrative and date entry work related to training.
  • Audits staff training completion communicates overdue training to applicable staff.
  • Stays relevant with industry best practices, trends, and current modalities and incorporates them in ongoing training planning.
  • Develops, resources, and ensures delivery of mission, values, and cultural training tailored to all layers of AGNW.
  • Participates in defining key terms with the goal of creating a shared understanding of foundational organizational mission, values, and objectives.
  • Adheres to all state and federal privacy and security regulations applicable to the program, and to All Good NW’s policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security.
  • Attending weekly supervision, all staff meetings assigned, Trainings, and developed meetings that are pertinent to the role.
  • Supports and engages other Team Lead Supervisors at All Good activities and other events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 1 year experience delivering training to employees or 2 years equivalent experience in a teaching environment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, life-styles, and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.
  • High school diploma or GED
Preferred Education/Experience
  • Associates degree or higher in related field
  • CPR/BLS/First Responder Training Certification
  • Experience creating training programs
  • Experience managing training goals and
  • Understanding of Housing First and Harm Reduction models.
  • Experience working in social services which included assisting individuals battling housing barriers, addiction issues, and/or mental health issues.

  • Flexibility to work during the various shifts for the 24/7 facilities.
  • Ability to physically perform basic lifesaving intervention methods.
  • Driving, transporting, and delivering materials, media and presentation equipment.
  • Consistent, clear, direct, and professional communication with staff, participants, partners, and vendors.
  • Ability to display a non-judgmental attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to provide leadership and facilitating.
  • Ability to work as a team member and establish priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem solve, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Proficient skills in utilizing Microsoft 365, Teams, OneNote, Excel, SharePoint, and other tools.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work courteously with the public, clients, and co-workers.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and necessary paperwork.
  • Ability to learn and apply training instruction.
  • Knowledge and experience of how to address and support escalated participants through de-escalation and engagement techniques.
  • Professional maintenance of appropriate boundaries.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity and physical ability to perform assigned tasks.

Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50lbs, bending, stooping, reaching, sit for extended periods of time, standing for extended periods of time. This position involves computer work and keyboard fingering.
Travel RequiredFrequent travel to and from other work sites up to 70% of the time.
