Position Title: Concierge Team Leader

Pay: Starting at $19.00/hr

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday- Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

Brandon Wilde is recruiting for a hospitality focused Concierge Team Leader. This role is responsible for meeting and greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner on a daily basis. They are the first face someone sees when visiting our community! The Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing all concierge positions, including scheduling, hiring, training, scheduling work tasks, and evaluating.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answers the telephone/switchboard and 2-way communication system for the building in a friendly, helpful, cooperative, and responsive manner, including calls from the public, residents, and employees.
  • Uses knowledge of facility philosophy and organizational structure in responding to residents’, visitors’, co-workers’ or department directors’ requests, comments and/or complaints. 
  • Provides appropriate directional information and ensures that all guests sign in and out when entering and leaving the facility. 
  • Takes requests for housekeeping and maintenance. Records request on appropriate forms and forward them to appropriate departments. 
  • Takes resident requests for use of facility transportation service. 
  • Uses postage meter and communicates resident postal needs with carrier. 
  • Trained in emergency procedures for facility and paging systems.
  • Attends meetings and training seminars as required. 
  • Maintains and distributes the Confidential Flow Sheet daily. 
  • Maintains adequate supplies and equipment to ensure a professional work area. 
  • Maintains a neat and organized work area. 
  • Maintains the guest room reservation book and the medical appointment book. 
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding the physical well-being of residents as well as any information of a sensitive nature. 
  • Responsible for the “I am OK Program.” 
  •  Communicate with night and or weekend concierge to ensure residents & customers’ needs are met. 
  •  Works as part of a secretarial pool. Handles various clerical tasks for multiple department directors as assigned.
  • Normal work hours are M-F 8:00 – 4:30 but must be available to work weekends 8-6 or evenings 4:30-7:00 and holidays as necessary for coverage. 
  • Responsible for scheduling coverage for Front Desk and ensuring the desk coverage is maintained during all open hours. 
  • Professional Dress code requirements must be met.
  • May be assigned special duties by the manager. 

Qualifications:

  1. Education: High School graduate or equivalent. 
  2. Training and Experience: Minimum of (2) years’ experience in a professional position that required typing using Microsoft word, excel, filing, high level of customer service & other general clerical duties. 
  3. Must have proven experience in Word and Excel computer skills with typing speed of at least 50 wpm.
