Shift:

Days or Nights - with rotating weekends

Night Shift Differential:

$3.75/hr. Weekend Differential: $4.30/hr.

Sign on Bonus: $10,000

Relocation: up to $3,000

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse RN PCU Progressive Care Unit RN provides direct nursing care by established policies and procedures. In collaboration with the patient, the patients family, and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN is responsible for assessing the nursing care needs of patients, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes of care. The RN provides direct care and/or supervises nursing care of LVNs and non-licensed nursing staff. The RN is responsible for providing care consistent with the Nursing Departments policies, procedures, and standards of practice.

EDUCATION

ADN required

BSN preferred

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Current Texas State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (Compact license is accepted but TX State RN license required within 30 days of hire)

Current ACLS and BLS

EXPERIENCE

• Must have at least 2 years of recent acute PCU RN nursing experience (Candidate must have 1 year of Cardiac experience)
• MUST have recent ACUTE care experience
