STAFFING COORDINATOR FOR HOME CARE AGENCY 

We are seeking an experienced dedicated, full-time Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler with strong organizational, communication, multi-tasking and time management skills to join our team. The Staffing Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the staffing and scheduling processes to ensure our clients receive the best care possible from our qualified professionals. We are dedicated to meeting the home care needs of our clients and looking for caring, honest and dedicated staff members to join our team.

Job Duties: 

  • Responsible for scheduling caregivers for hours of service for new clients, open hours/shifts for existing cases. 
  • Build relationships with caregivers to create and maintain schedules, based on caregivers’ location and skillsets.
  • Provide consistency in caregiver scheduling with clients.
  • Supports other team members in resolving scheduling challenges, entering new client schedules and caregiver information into company software. 
  • Maintain computer schedules for clients and caregivers and ensure timely data entry for clients and caregivers.
  • Follows all office communication and documentation protocols to ensure excellent service to clients.
  • Contact clients and caregivers regarding day-to-day scheduling changes with appropriate information on schedule changes.
  • Maintain positive relationships with all clients and their families, prospective clients, caregivers, fellow team members and referral sources.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients and clients families.
  • Monitor the schedules on a daily basis, making the appropriate corrections to clients and caregivers schedules to facilitate accurate processing of payroll and billing.
  • Perform general office duties including but not limited to, filing, reception and telephone services.

Job Requirements: 

  • 2 yrs experience as a Staffing Coordinator (Home Care preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Great telephone etiquette with active listening and customer service skills.
  • Must possess a professional demeanor.
  • Be knowledgeable of HIPAA confidentiality guidelines for healthcare. 
  • Proficient and strong computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficient with using technology and learning new technology.
  • Technologically savvy with proven ability to learn and master new software and use a variety of tech equipment.
  • Must be detailed oriented, be able to effectively multi-task, self-motivated and proactive.
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills
  • Capable of maintaining composure and clear thoughts under pressure

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Good physical and mental health.
  • Combination of physical ability of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, hearing, seeing climbing stairs and moving intermittently during working hour.
  • Mental fortitude and stability to handle stress.
