We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant Specialist to join our team. The Medical Assistant Specialist will be primarily responsible for conducting training sessions for new hires and providing remediation training as needed for existing centers/ employees. Also, the Medical Assistant Specialist will participate in clinical duties/shifts on the clinic floor, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and support. AllCare Core Responsibilities

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of medical assistant training program with certification
2 years of medical assistant experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting
1 year experience as a trainer/mentor in a Primary Care/ Immediate/Urgent Care setting
Knowledge of computerized information systems (EMR) used in clinical management settings (Athena preferred)
Direct Experience With The Following Tasks
Clinical intake, patient data collection
Laboratory specimen collection (blood-draw/venipuncture, urine collection, point of care testing, etc.)
Performing EKG testing
Must meet all other state requirements by law, including but not limited to all state requirements, and licenses, where applicable
If required by state must maintain current certification from the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or registration from the American Medical Technologists (AMT), or any other recognized certifying body approved by the Board
Experience with basic computer software and the ability to learn electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Qualifications
2 year (s) of customer service experience OR experience in a medical office setting
3 years of direct patient care experience performing medical assistant clinical duties in an urgent care, physician practice, or emergency room setting.
Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations including OSHA and HIPAA requirements

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new medical assistant hires, covering clinical procedures, administrative tasks, and compliance with clinic protocols
Assess training needs and provide remediation sessions to address performance gaps identified during onboarding and ongoing evaluations.
Serve as a mentor and resource for new hires, offering guidance and support throughout their training period and beyond
Collaborate with the Clinical Training Specialist to develop and update training materials and protocols to ensure they reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements
Work alongside medical assistants on the clinic floor to demonstrate best practices, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
Work floor shifts in assigned pod for business continuity, assisting with patient intake, assessments, and basic medical procedures as needed to support clinic operations
Maintain accurate documentation of training sessions, attendance records, and performance evaluations
Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay updated on company workflows, SOP’s and policies
Working Conditions
Flexibility to work various schedules, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate training schedules assigned clinical shifts, and call outs.
Travel. The role will require 100% travel between locations of assigned region or market
This position primarily operates in a clinical environment, involving regular interaction with patients and healthcare staff
Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying medical equipment or supplies, and assisting with patient mobility
