Job Title: ***Temporary*** Facilities Coordinator

Report To: Operations Manager, CRE

In order to achieve this state of success, this position will provide daily facilities operations at all of Allegacy’s facilities. This position is responsible for building maintenance (HVAC, electrical, boiler, generator, fire systems, etc.), light maintenance, building and grounds upkeep and janitorial services. Responsible for coordinating the ordering of all office supplies throughout the credit union, coordinates the ordering and maintenance of office equipment (except computer equipment) and credit union forms. This individual provides direction and support for both mailroom and dock operations. In this capacity, this individual also meets with vendors to ensure that they are fulfilling their contracts.

Nature and Scope

This individual reports to the Operations Manager, CRE and works closely with the Security and Security Officer (in a back-up role as needed) and with other credit union managers. This individual must have the ability to perform multiple tasks on a timely basis. This individual must have good communication skills and the ability to deal with many vendors with the goal of obtaining the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase price. This individual must have the ability to work well within a team environment and have the ability to project a positive and professional image.

Specific Accountabilities

• Deliver exceptional member service to every member, every time by ensuring employees deliver consistently high quality service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with our Brand Culture.
• Meet or exceed established service goals
• Ensure thorough understanding of expectations and consistently exhibit Allegacy behaviors.
• Light maintenance
• Maintain and adjust building controls
• Coordinates and maintains maintenance agreements for janitorial services, mechanical equipment, building and grounds, etc.
• Assists in mailroom operations and supply room operations
• Works closely with department managers in purchasing equipment and supplies
• Meets with vendors on an on-going basis to determine what commodities or services are the best and negotiates the lowest price
• Evaluates suppliers on the basis of price, quality, service support, availability, reliability, and selection
• Recommends the awarding of contracts, places orders and follows up to ensure services and products ordered are received and invoiced correctly

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in facilities management processes and in services and products used by financial institutions
• Ability to work well with co-workers and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors who provide goods and services to Allegacy Federal Credit Union.
• Maintain a sense of urgency to resolve problems effecting maintenance issues that could endanger members or employees
• Must have a working knowledge of the goods or services to be purchased
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds

Education and Experience

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in building construction and mechanical equipment preferred.
• Experience in purchasing goods or services and in dealing with vendors.
