We are seeking a warm-hearted and reliable Direct Care Worker to provide high-quality care to our clients in Windber and Richland. As a DCW, you will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety, and offer companionship to our clients, helping them maintain an independent and dignified life in their own homes. We are extremely flexible with schedules and will do our best to fit it to YOUR availability.
Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Plan and prepare meals
Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing Provide medication reminders
Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and transferring clients Reliable transportation
