Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, providing product information, and driving sales. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product knowledge and answer customer inquiries
- Assist customers in finding the right products to meet their needs
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with customers
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions
- Previous experience in the firearms industry preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems
- Knowledge of ATF compliance and proficiency filling out a 4473 preferred
