Position: Project Engineer / PE

Location: Tampa, Florida

Salary: $100,000 - $135,000

The Project Engineer will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing tests, and developing plans, specifications, and reports. This technical role is crucial in supporting architectural and engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Technical Duties:

• Coordinate internal project meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Monitor schedules and ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Conduct on-site inspections, document conditions, and perform field testing.
• Record measurements and perform calculations.
• Communicate professionally with clients and contractors.
• Interpret investigation reports and bid documents.
• Report project status and escalate issues as necessary.
• Maintain organized project records and files.
• Collect post-project feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends through workshops, publications, and networks.
• Represent the company at events and seek marketing opportunities.

Skills:

• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Professional interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work overtime and attend client meetings as needed.
• Familiarity with drafting software (AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Revit).

• Willingness to travel and work in the field as required.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture.

Over four years of experience in architectural/engineering consulting.

Licenses and Certifications:

Professional Engineer or Registered Architect license required.

OSHA-10 Certification preferred.

Valid US Driver’s License for travel to client sites.
