I am currently recruiting for a highly skilled Project Manager with a robust background in managing large-scale commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working directly for a general contractor, overseeing all aspects of the construction process from inception to completion. This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
My client are a leading General Contractor with a dynamic team specializing in large-scale commercial building projects across the Houston and surrounding area. They take pride in delivering high-quality construction services, innovative solutions, and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of large-scale commercial building projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and senior management.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a hands-on Project Manager with a general contractor.
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale commercial building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
