REQUIREMENTS: The primary responsibility of the Administrative Assistant is to perform secretarial and administrative duties of a highly confidential nature for the Plant Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides secretarial services and administrative support to individual executive staff. Typing correspondence and reports. Maintaining files.
Scheduling appointments and other commitments and provides background information and/or supporting documents in preparation for scheduled appointments, meetings, speaking engagements, interviews, and presentations. Maintains an efficient flow of information between all levels of the executive’s internal and external contacts on a wide spectrum of the organization’s plans and priorities. Able to interact with all levels of corporate staff. Review of executive’s direct reports credit card and expense statements. Handle highly confidential information.
Work in an exceptionally fast-paced environment and make sound decisions. Attend Executive Committee meetings, follow-up on action items. Prepares correspondence and documents for review and/or signature. Reviews and proofreads documents presented for signature and assures that all necessary approvals are in place.
Makes travel arrangement as necessary. Assist Human Resources in projects including recruitment, benefits, service awards, employee events and other special projects. Compete special projects and assignments by prioritizing, managing the timeline for deliverables, and working with others to garner support. Other duties as assigned.
