**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wound care and providing exceptional patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Assessing, treating, and managing acute and chronic wounds - Collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to develop individualized wound care plans - Monitoring and documenting wound healing progress - Educating patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies - Utilizing advanced wound care products and treatments - Maintaining accurate patient records **Requirements:** - Valid RN license with Wound Care Certification preferred - Experience in wound care management in settings such as acute care, medical offices, or laboratories - Proficiency in electronic health records systems, including Athenahealth - Knowledge of infectious disease care and IV infusion techniques - Familiarity with diagnostic procedures like sonography for wound assessment - Understanding of workers' compensation laws related to wound care - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Joining our team as a Wound Care Nurse offers the opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives while advancing your career in a supportive healthcare environment.
